Personal data on SAFE at end of service

A full description of how we handle personal data on SAFE can be found in the SAFE Personal Data and Privacy Policy. A summary of impacts for users and projects on ARCHER2 that are active at the end of the service:

  • We will retain your personal details for a period of 2 years to allow you and the research councils to access historic data on the use of the ARCHER2 service.
  • After 2 years, all data will be anonymised and your personal details deleted from the SAFE database.
  • All email records to the ARCHER2 service desk stored in the SAFE database will be deleted 2 years after the end of service.

If you wish for us to remove your personal details from the SAFE sooner than the 2 year deadline after the service ends, you can do this by contacting the ARCHER2 support address (support@archer2.ac.uk), this email address will continue to be monitored after the end of the ARCHER2 service.
